About Faith
I earned a B.Sc in Chemistry followed by an M.Sc in Inorganic Chemistry, gaining strong foundations in both theory and application. Over 10 years of teaching, I have helped students overcome anxiety and build structured understanding across chemistry topics. These experiences shaped my calm, supportive teaching style. My approach centres on clarity, adaptability, and encouragement. I carefully assess where confusion arises and adjust explanations to suit each learner’s thinking process. My chemistry lessons focus on helping students understand the reasoning behind chemical behaviour rather than memorising rules. I introduce topics such as atomic theory, bonding, reaction types, stoichiometry, acids and bases, and periodic trends through structured explanation and practical examples. Lessons are designed to build clarity gradually, allowing students to feel comfortable asking questions and revisiting difficult ideas. As learners advance, lessons emphasise numerical accuracy, reaction analysis, and interpretation of chemical data. Intermediate learners work on structured problem-solving, while advanced learners refine exam techniques and conceptual explanations. I guide students through mistakes carefully, helping them understand where reasoning can improve rather than simply correcting answers. Chemistry lessons also develop discipline, logical sequencing, and attention to detail. Many students gain confidence as chemistry becomes predictable and understandable. My goal is to help learners approach chemistry calmly and trust their ability to reason through complex problems independently.
