About Violet
My passion for chemistry began during high school, where I was fascinated by chemical reactions and laboratory work. This led me to complete a Master’s in Chemistry and dedicate over 8 years to teaching students of various levels. I enjoy making chemistry accessible, practical, and engaging for all learners.
I emphasize patience, clarity, and structured explanation, breaking complex concepts into understandable steps. Visual aids, examples, and guided practice are central to my teaching, ensuring students gain confidence and competence. Lessons are adapted to each student’s pace and needs, fostering a supportive learning environment.
Outside teaching, I explore modern chemical research, laboratory innovations, and educational techniques to keep lessons current. Watching students move from confusion to understanding, develop curiosity, and succeed academically is deeply rewarding. My goal is to inspire confidence, knowledge, and a love for chemistry in every student.

Chemistry can feel challenging when concepts are presented without context. My lessons focus on connecting theory to practical examples, helping students understand chemical reactions, molecular structures, acids and bases, and energy changes. I emphasize comprehension over memorization, using step-by-step explanations, demonstrations, and exercises that encourage active participation. Students gain confidence as they apply concepts in real-life situations, laboratory tasks, and problem-solving exercises.
Lessons are tailored to the student’s level. Beginners explore atomic structure, basic reactions, and the periodic table. Intermediate learners study bonding, solutions, and reaction mechanisms. Advanced learners focus on thermodynamics, kinetics, and analytical problem-solving. Exercises include calculations, visual aids, and guided discussions to reinforce understanding. Encouraging questions and practical engagement ensures knowledge is internalized effectively.
As learners progress, they develop analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and curiosity about chemical processes in daily life. Many begin to appreciate chemistry beyond exams, noticing its presence in cooking, the environment, and technology.
