About Charlotte
My fascination with chemistry began when I first observed chemical reactions during laboratory experiments in school. I was intrigued by how substances change and interact to form new compounds and release energy. This curiosity motivated me to pursue higher education in chemistry and eventually complete a Bachelor’s degree in the subject.
Over the past 6 years, I have taught chemistry to students from different academic backgrounds and helped them understand complex chemical concepts more clearly. Many learners initially feel overwhelmed by formulas, equations, and scientific terminology. To make the subject easier to understand, I focus on explaining concepts step by step and using visual illustrations to demonstrate chemical processes.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading about scientific research and learning how chemistry contributes to advancements in medicine, environmental protection, and industrial technology. Continuing to explore new developments in science allows me to bring interesting examples into my lessons. Helping students develop confidence and curiosity while learning chemistry is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my teaching career.

Chemistry explains how different substances interact, combine, and transform to form new materials. My lessons focus on helping students understand the fundamental principles of chemistry such as atomic structure, periodic table trends, chemical bonding, reaction types, acids and bases, and energy changes in reactions. Instead of memorizing formulas and equations without understanding their meaning, students learn how these concepts explain real chemical processes.
During lessons, students build their understanding through clear explanations, diagrams, and guided problem-solving exercises. Beginners focus on basic topics such as atoms, elements, molecules, and simple chemical reactions. Intermediate learners explore bonding structures, balancing chemical equations, and solution chemistry. Advanced students study more complex topics such as thermodynamics, equilibrium, and analytical problem solving. Visual examples and structured practice exercises help students understand chemical reactions and processes more clearly.
As students continue studying chemistry, they begin to recognize how chemical reactions influence everyday activities such as cooking, environmental processes, medicine production, and industrial manufacturing. Understanding these connections helps students appreciate the importance of chemistry in modern society. My goal is to help students build a strong conceptual understanding of chemistry while developing confidence in solving chemical problems.
