About Vira
I have 8 years of experience teaching Chemistry to students preparing for school examinations, advanced science courses, and university pathways. I hold a B.Sc in Chemical Sciences, which gave me strong grounding in molecular structure, reaction mechanisms, and analytical problem solving. This academic foundation helps me explain chemistry concepts with both clarity and accuracy.
My teaching style is warm, patient, and structured around student comfort. I believe learners succeed best when they feel supported rather than pressured. I guide students through difficult topics by breaking them into manageable steps, helping them build long-term understanding instead of short-term memorisation.
Outside tutoring, I remain engaged with chemistry through reading research on materials, pharmaceuticals, and environmental applications. Teaching chemistry is meaningful to me because I see students transform from uncertainty into confidence as they realise the subject is logical and achievable. Supporting that growth is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

Chemistry becomes far more understandable when students learn to see it as a story of how matter behaves and transforms. In my lessons, I focus on helping learners grasp the logic behind atomic interactions, bonding, reaction pathways, and chemical change. Instead of memorising disconnected facts, students develop clear understanding through step-by-step explanation, supportive guidance, and structured practice. Sessions are designed to feel calm and approachable, allowing learners to ask questions freely while building confidence.
Lesson content is always shaped around the student’s current level. Beginners strengthen their understanding of atoms, elements, periodic trends, and balancing equations. Intermediate learners explore mole calculations, acids and bases, organic chemistry foundations, and laboratory-style reasoning. Advanced students focus on kinetics, equilibrium systems, thermodynamic concepts, and exam-level multi-step problem solving. Each lesson includes guided correction so students improve steadily and feel encouraged throughout.
Chemistry lessons also help students develop stronger analytical thinking and academic discipline. Over time, learners gain clarity, precision, and confidence in science. My goal is to help every student feel capable of mastering chemistry through understanding, not intimidation.
