Ruth is a hardworking individual who has extensive knowledge across the field of chemistry, including organic, inorganic and physical. She has continually shown, in her previous role, an ability to communicate this knowledge effectively to those who require assistance in a way that is understandable without losing any depth. She has aided me during the course of completing our Post Doctorates. She has undertaken a teaching role in a laboratory environment and translated theoretical knowledge into experiments. She is very approachable and down to earth and is able to make students feel at ease. Currently she has experience in teaching at an undergraduate level and could do any below this.

Ruth has an extensive knowledge across a range of chemistry disciplines, including organic, inorganic and physical chemistry. She has shown outstanding synthetic ability with the synthesis of novel compounds, teaching undergraduate students in lab classes and sharing her knowledge on synthesis. On a personal level, Ruth is highly approachable, kind, patient and hard working. I feel very honoured to have benefited from her expertise in chemistry and to have worked alongside her for over 3 years.
