About Reed
My fascination with Chemistry began from a curiosity about how substances interact, transform, and influence the world around us. This passion inspired me to pursue advanced studies and complete a PhD in Physical Chemistry while continuing to explore scientific research and laboratory methods. Over the past 12 years, I have guided students through complex scientific topics while helping them improve understanding through supportive instruction and practical learning approaches.
I believe Chemistry becomes easier when students understand concepts clearly instead of memorizing information without meaning. My teaching style focuses on conceptual clarity, patience, and adaptable guidance that supports different learning styles and confidence levels. I enjoy simplifying difficult scientific ideas through examples, diagrams, and structured problem-solving methods that make lessons more approachable and engaging. I also encourage students to ask questions openly because discussion often strengthens confidence and deeper understanding naturally.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading about scientific innovation, sustainable chemistry developments, and laboratory technologies used in healthcare and manufacturing industries. These interests help me bring updated and practical insight into lessons while keeping students connected to real-world scientific applications. Teaching Chemistry is deeply fulfilling because I enjoy helping students overcome uncertainty and become more confident in science. Watching learners improve academically while developing stronger analytical thinking remains one of the most meaningful parts of my teaching journey.

My Chemistry lessons are designed to help students understand scientific ideas through clear explanation and practical reasoning. I teach topics such as atomic structure, chemical bonding, reactions, organic chemistry, acids and bases, and laboratory techniques using relatable examples and structured discussions. Instead of focusing only on memorization, I help students understand why reactions happen and how different chemical principles connect logically. This approach helps learners build stronger confidence and long-term understanding while reducing confusion during problem-solving.
Lessons are adjusted according to each student’s learning level and academic goals. Beginners receive patient support with formulas, balancing equations, scientific vocabulary, and basic calculations through guided practice and simple explanation. Intermediate learners improve conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, and reaction interpretation using application-based exercises and discussion. Advanced students focus on reaction mechanisms, experimental analysis, and exam preparation through deeper conceptual exploration and structured revision activities. Regular practice sessions help students strengthen confidence, consistency, and scientific reasoning over time.
I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable and curious while learning Chemistry. Many learners initially feel overwhelmed by formulas and calculations, but confidence grows steadily once difficult concepts are simplified and explained clearly. My lessons encourage participation, questioning, and independent thinking while supporting gradual academic improvement. Students often become more interested in science as they understand how Chemistry connects to everyday life and industrial applications. My goal is to help learners approach Chemistry with confidence, understanding, and curiosity.
