About Freya
I know first-hand how challenging Biology, Chemistry and Maths can be — I struggled with these subjects myself and had a tutor who made a real difference to my understanding and confidence. That experience gave me a genuine love for these subjects, going on to achieve A*A*A at A-Level and nine 9s at GCSE (and one 8). I want to help other students persevere through the difficult parts rather than give up on them. My approach focuses on understanding the root of a topic and building strong foundations, so students can answer a whole range of questions rather than just memorising the solution to one.

I’m a Biology, Chemistry and Maths tutor with a patient, student-led approach. Everyone thinks through STEM problems differently, so rather than imposing one method, I help each student find the way of reasoning that clicks for them. This builds real understanding and confidence, not just memorised steps. I recently completed A Levels in these subjects myself, so I understand the exam demands and stresses from a student’s perspective.
