About Adam
I am a Chemistry graduate with a first class Masters degree. I have over 80 hours of experience tutoring Chemistry and Maths at GCSE and A Level online since 2017. My speciality is Organic Chemistry, and I have significant practical experience in this area, including five months as a research assistant at the University of Birmingham.

I believe that teaching should be a collaborative process - if someone is simply being talked at for an hour, they're unlikely to learn anything at all. In my lessons I seek to guide students to reach the correct conclusions by themselves, and I find that this gives a sense of achievement that immediately helps consolidate their new knowledge. I give as many opportunities as possible for students to get hands on with material and engage with the concepts, as I find that this is the most effective way to learn. I provide lessons for Maths and Chemistry up to A Level, and am happy to discuss lessons in Chemistry at higher levels.
