About Emi
My interest in chemistry developed when I first studied how atoms combine to create different substances. I became fascinated by how chemical reactions explain processes that occur in daily life, from cooking to industrial manufacturing. This curiosity encouraged me to pursue higher education in chemistry and complete a Master’s Degree in Chemistry, where I studied organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, and physical chemistry.
During my 9 years of teaching, I have helped students build a stronger understanding of chemical concepts. Some learners needed support with basic ideas, while others wanted to strengthen their ability to solve advanced chemistry problems. My teaching approach focuses on clear explanations and structured practice so students can gradually improve their understanding.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading about new research in chemical science and environmental chemistry. These interests help me bring real-world examples into my lessons. Teaching chemistry is fulfilling because I see students grow more confident and curious about how substances behave and interact.

My chemistry lessons are designed to help students understand how substances interact and transform through chemical reactions. Many learners initially feel chemistry is difficult because formulas and equations can appear complicated. In my lessons we begin with the basic building blocks of chemistry such as atoms, elements, and compounds. I explain how the periodic table organizes elements and how atomic structure influences chemical behavior.
After building these foundations, lessons expand to include chemical bonding, reaction types, and stoichiometry. Students learn how atoms combine to form molecules and how chemical equations represent these changes. I guide learners through practice exercises so they can develop confidence in balancing equations and solving chemistry problems step by step.
My goal is to help students understand the principles behind chemical reactions instead of memorizing information without context. Lessons focus on clear explanation and logical reasoning so learners can analyze chemical processes more effectively. Over time students begin to see chemistry as a subject that explains many everyday phenomena and scientific processes.
