About Callie
My interest in chemistry began with curiosity about how substances interact and transform. This curiosity led me to pursue a B.Sc in Chemistry, where I developed a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of the subject. Over 7 years of teaching, I have worked with students to help them overcome confusion and build confidence through structured, patient instruction.
I believe chemistry should be taught with clarity and relevance. My teaching approach emphasizes understanding over memorization, helping students see the logic behind reactions and calculations. I adapt explanations based on individual needs and focus on building steady progress through encouragement and consistency.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring chemistry through reading, practical exploration, and staying updated with scientific developments. Teaching chemistry is meaningful to me because I get to support students as they move from uncertainty to understanding. Helping learners trust their ability to think scientifically is a deeply rewarding part of my journey.

Chemistry becomes easier when students see how concepts connect to real situations. My lessons focus on helping learners understand the behavior of matter through clear explanations of reactions, equations, and chemical principles. Topics such as stoichiometry, acids and bases, chemical bonding, and reaction rates are introduced in a structured and approachable way. I use relatable examples and step-by-step reasoning to help students feel comfortable with calculations and theory alike.
Lessons are adapted to each student’s level. Beginners focus on foundational ideas, symbols, and simple reactions. Intermediate learners strengthen calculation accuracy, equation balancing, and conceptual understanding. Advanced students explore reaction mechanisms, analytical reasoning, and exam-focused problem-solving. Practice questions are used to reinforce learning, with guidance provided at every stage. Students are encouraged to ask questions and explore concepts without hesitation.
Through consistent practice, students gain confidence and clarity in chemistry. Many begin to see patterns in reactions and develop stronger analytical skills. My goal is to help learners feel capable of handling complex chemical problems and to support their growth into confident, independent students who understand how chemistry shapes the world around them.
