About Aubrey
I discovered my passion for chemistry during my undergraduate studies, fascinated by how matter interacts, transforms, and responds to different conditions. This led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, where I focused on chemical analysis, experimental design, and laboratory problem-solving. Over the past 7 years, I have taught learners of all levels, from beginners exploring the basics of chemical principles to advanced students preparing for academic research and competitive examinations. My teaching emphasizes clarity, patience, and stepwise explanation, ensuring that each student builds a solid conceptual foundation.
I design lessons to be interactive, practical, and tailored to each student’s learning pace. Beginners receive guidance with foundational ideas, simple exercises, and visual demonstrations. Intermediate students focus on applied problem-solving, multi-step calculations, and experimental interpretation. Advanced learners engage in in-depth exploration of reaction mechanisms, experimental techniques, and scientific reasoning, developing analytical thinking, precision, and self-confidence. I encourage curiosity, discussion, and exploration, helping learners see chemistry as both a fascinating subject and a practical tool for understanding the world.
Beyond teaching, I continuously engage with the latest research, laboratory innovations, and scientific publications. This ongoing learning allows me to provide up-to-date examples and applications in lessons, connecting theory with real-world chemistry. Witnessing students transform from hesitant learners into confident, analytical thinkers who understand and enjoy chemistry is profoundly rewarding. My ultimate goal is to equip learners with both knowledge and the scientific mindset to approach problems thoughtfully, logically, and creatively.

Chemistry becomes engaging and accessible when students connect theoretical concepts to real-world phenomena. My lessons cover atomic theory, chemical bonding, stoichiometry, organic and inorganic reactions, thermodynamics, kinetics, and laboratory safety. Beginners focus on basic principles such as elements, compounds, periodic table trends, simple reactions, and safe lab practices. Intermediate learners explore chemical equations, reaction mechanisms, concentration calculations, and analytical techniques, building problem-solving skills and deeper conceptual understanding. Advanced learners tackle complex topics like thermodynamics applications, advanced kinetics, spectroscopy, and experimental design, fostering analytical thinking, accuracy, and scientific reasoning.
I emphasize hands-on learning and conceptual clarity in every session. Students work through guided experiments, simulations, and problem-solving exercises that reinforce theoretical concepts. Lessons are structured to match individual skill levels, providing a combination of explanation, demonstration, and practice. I encourage curiosity, asking questions, and exploring concepts beyond the classroom, helping learners develop critical thinking, logical analysis, and confidence in handling complex chemical problems. This structured approach ensures students gradually gain competence, conceptual clarity, and confidence in both theory and practical applications.
Chemistry lessons help students develop analytical thinking, systematic problem-solving, and scientific curiosity. As learners gain mastery over concepts and laboratory skills, they can confidently analyze reactions, interpret data, and connect chemistry to everyday life. My goal is to nurture a curiosity-driven understanding, enabling students to approach chemistry confidently, think critically about scientific challenges, and apply knowledge effectively in academic, professional, and personal contexts.
