About Keir
My fascination with Chemistry began from a curiosity about how substances interact and transform at the molecular level. This passion inspired me to pursue advanced studies and complete a PhD in Physical Chemistry while continuing to explore laboratory science and modern scientific developments. Over the past 11 years, I have guided students through different Chemistry topics while helping them improve understanding through supportive instruction and structured learning experiences.
I believe Chemistry becomes easier when students understand concepts clearly instead of memorizing information mechanically. My teaching style focuses on patience, conceptual clarity, and adaptable explanation suited to different confidence levels and learning styles. I enjoy simplifying difficult scientific ideas through practical comparisons, diagrams, and step-by-step reasoning methods that make lessons more approachable and engaging. I also encourage students to ask questions openly because discussion often strengthens understanding and confidence naturally.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading scientific journals, exploring green chemistry innovations, and learning about advancements in healthcare and laboratory technology. These interests help me keep lessons updated and connected to practical scientific applications. Teaching Chemistry is deeply rewarding because I enjoy helping students transform uncertainty into confidence and curiosity. Watching learners improve academically while developing stronger analytical thinking remains one of the most meaningful parts of my teaching journey.

My Chemistry lessons are designed to help students understand scientific concepts through practical explanation and structured learning methods. I teach topics such as atomic structure, thermochemistry, organic reactions, chemical bonding, acids and bases, and equilibrium using relatable examples and guided exercises. Instead of encouraging memorization without understanding, I help students learn why reactions occur and how scientific principles connect naturally. This approach helps learners improve confidence while developing stronger analytical and scientific reasoning skills over time.
Each lesson is personalized according to the student’s academic level and learning needs. Beginners focus on scientific vocabulary, balancing equations, formulas, and foundational concepts through patient guidance and step-by-step instruction. Intermediate learners improve conceptual understanding, calculation accuracy, and reaction analysis through structured activities and application-based learning. Advanced students focus on laboratory interpretation, advanced reaction mechanisms, and examination preparation through deeper conceptual discussion and revision practice. Regular review sessions help learners strengthen confidence, consistency, and long-term understanding steadily over time.
I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring scientific ideas. Many learners initially feel overwhelmed by calculations and chemical equations, but confidence develops naturally when lessons are simplified and explained clearly. My teaching encourages curiosity, participation, and independent thinking while supporting gradual academic growth. Students often become more interested in science as they understand how Chemistry connects to healthcare, nature, and industrial processes. My goal is to help learners approach Chemistry with confidence and stronger scientific understanding.
