About Lauren
Hello, I’m Lauren and I’m based in Hull, UK. I have always been passionate about the importance of education since a young age, after seeing my mother struggle to get a job due to lack of qualifications. Seeing the doors that qualifications opened for her truly inspired me to want to help others reach their potential.
I am a Chemistry graduate, with 4 years of Science education experience,3 years of tutoring experience as well as recently working in adult education teaching functional skills maths.
As well as my Chemistry degree, I also have an MA in Education, Special Needs and Inclusion and have started my Level 2 qualification in British Sign Language.

I believe in offering a bespoke approach to tutoring as not one size fits all. By working with everyone involved (the learner, guardians and educators), I aim to ensure consistency in approaches to allow the learner to reach their full potential both academically and personally.
Lessons can range from 1 hour (recommended as to avoid cognitive overload) to 3 hour in-depth sessions (best on the run up to exams).
I offer tutoring for GCSE combined science, GCSE Chemistry, GCSE maths and Functional skills Maths up to level 2.
