About Alex
I'm a 21 year old undergraduate with a passion for study and sharing my subject with others. I have studied 2 years of Undergraduate chemistry, (achieving a First in each) and participated in mentoring schemes at University.
I have previously tutored while at school and now want to engage again with students to help them progress, learn and overcome academic challenges.

•I offer a mouldable teaching method based around your child, and their needs by introducing various problems and talking through them and analysing mistakes.
•I have a plethora of A's and A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics A levels. I am currently a Chemistry Undergraduate at Nottinham University.
•I offer hour long lessons, which can be increased in 30 minute increments.
•The first lesson is free, as I offer a chance to get to know the student before diving into out first lesson.
•My lessons are aimed at GCSE and A-level students for Maths and or Chemistry.

I would highly recommend Alex as a tutor. As his secondary school science teacher other students always sought him out to explain things if I was helping someone else. They found his explanations really clear and his manner reassuring.
As Alex’s secondary school science teacher I am excited to see him take on this challenge and support other learners.
Without our classroom peers would often seek him out to check their answers against or for help if I was busy supporting another student. Others found he had a very clear way of explaining the content and appreciated his teaching style. He mainly works by reviewing the content and then applying it to new scenarios / exam questions.
