About Rosie
My fascination with Chemistry began with curiosity about how molecules interact and transform under different conditions. This curiosity led me to pursue an M.Sc in Organic and Inorganic Chemistry, where I gained a deep understanding of chemical principles, laboratory skills, and analytical reasoning. Over 9 years of teaching experience, I have worked with students of various academic backgrounds, guiding them to transform initial uncertainty into clear conceptual understanding and confidence. I teach with patience, adaptability, and clarity, taking the time to understand each student’s thinking process. I use visual aids, analogies, and step-by-step explanations to clarify complex concepts, creating an environment where questions are encouraged and mistakes are seen as learning opportunities. Outside teaching, I remain actively engaged in Chemistry through reading, experiments, and staying current with research developments. Teaching Chemistry is highly rewarding because I witness learners develop clarity, analytical skills, and confidence. Helping them grow as independent thinkers is the most fulfilling aspect of my work.

Chemistry can feel challenging if learners are not guided through concepts in a clear and structured way. My lessons focus on atomic theory, chemical bonding, reaction mechanisms, thermodynamics, and energy transformations, emphasizing reasoning and understanding rather than memorization. I help students make logical connections between concepts, which builds analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Each session is designed to gradually increase knowledge while maintaining engagement and curiosity.
Lesson content is tailored to the student’s level. Beginners learn chemical symbols, basic reactions, and simple formula writing using visual explanations and interactive exercises. Intermediate learners explore stoichiometry, periodic trends, acids and bases, and reaction types with guided practice. Advanced learners focus on equilibrium, kinetics, thermodynamics, and complex reaction pathways, with emphasis on structured problem-solving techniques and accuracy. Carefully chosen exercises reinforce understanding and track progress.
Chemistry lessons also foster patience, logical reasoning, and confidence. As learners gain clarity, they feel more capable tackling complex scientific challenges independently. Many begin to appreciate Chemistry as a structured, logical, and accessible subject. My goal is to help students gain both knowledge and self-assurance in scientific reasoning.
