About Bruce
Hello, my name is Bruce. I enjoy challenging the mind, and keeping it exercised through learning, and teaching difficult topics . Science, and Maths kept me grounded, and motivated to succeed through School and University. My education has given me a diverse career in Water Treatment Chemistry, Drug Testing, Nuclear Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Fashion, and Sales.

I teach by explaining a concept, then work through a few relevant questions, and often tie it back to the real world before allowing the student to have a go at answering after asking any questions they may have. If the student still has difficulty then I will find a different resource such as a video, graphic, or game to show them more visually. If not challenged by the content I will find extension work to go through as this often solidifies the basic concepts further, and prepares them for the following year. 1 hour lessons are standard but they can go longer if requested. I have 6 months experience as a tutor, and 6 months experience as a teaching assistant for those with special needs. Lessons are for Years K-10 (ages 5-15), and online only.
