About Sam
I am currently studying Chemical Engineering at Tufts University, with a minor in mathematics. In high school, I scored a perfect 800 on the SAT math section, and I was even part of the select few who represented my state of Maine in national math competitions.
I have been a tutor for several years, working with all grade levels K-12, so I have extensive experience teaching all ages! Additionally, I am always patient and will cater our lessons to your pace. I have always said that there is no such thing as a stupid question!

My teaching method focuses on truly understanding the core concepts of mathematics and chemistry to build an intuitive foundation, rather than just rote memorization. I will work with my students to find where the points of confusion are, then break down how exactly things work, and most importantly, why they work.
My lessons are for all levels of math covered in high school (up to calculus and linear algebra) and for general chemistry.
