About Yumna
I am currently in my 4th year of a Chemical Engineering degree at the University of Cape Town. I have tutored one-on-one students from grades 8 to 12 for about 3 years now, going onto my 4th year. I have also worked for a year at Master Maths/Physics tutoring company.

I believe in teaching through practice. Practice makes perfect! I like to teach using an example from a textbook or test paper, it makes visualizing the problem and topic easier. If the student still does not understand, I will go into more depth with the theory behind it, but usually a few examples work well. I also believe that consistency is key, therefore continuous sessions rather than one just before a test or exam would be advisable.
