I’ve been having lessons with Ms. Winnie since IGCSE until A Levels. She always ensures to explain each topic clearly and extensively goes through relevant past year paper questions. I never feel shy to ask any questions and can always expect immediate feedback. She is a great teacher and has also been greatly emotionally supportive throughout our lessons.

I have learned with her for the past 4 years and she has helped me massively with my A level Maths prep. I like that she is patient and her methods of explaining make maths easier to comprehend.

She’s a really great teacher for addmaths, she helps me understand the reasons behind specific formulas and allows me to understand how to workout difficult questions! She’s also very understanding and patient towards any issues i may have and helps me go through it thoroughly

Ms. Tan (Winnie) is a very experienced tutor. As a former student of hers for 3 years, she shows consistent dedication and provides very personal and precise, targeted feedback. Winnie is a stern yet patient teacher. I believe this style of teaching has really disciplined me into developing a determined mindset. Even if there is a topic that I am unsure about, Winnie chooses to go over it again with me, not only recapping previous knowledge, but also making it much easier to remember. If you don't get it after the first explanation, she doesn't hesitate to reexplain it but in a different style to help you understand.
She also encourages students to keep trying practice questions both in lesson and outside. She is very responsive to messages and will try to explain solutions even if you text her.

What I also like is that when you are attempting a question, Winnie will attempt it on her own too. This means she can discuss her working with you later on should you get confused. Occasionally, Winnie does make a mistake for her answers but she will correct herself and admit that she messed up somewhere.

Kind, understanding, hardworking and human. I can vouch for Winnie's ability to teach maths lessons and more! :)
