About Stephen
I am a recent graduate of the Biotechnology program at University of Ottawa with degrees in both chemical engineering and biochemistry and a past graduate of the Biotechnologist Technologist program offered at Durham College. I have provided tutoring services for highschool and college students in the past through the OpenStudy website.
Through my undergraduate program I have completed over 60 courses the majority being in the biological and physical sciences.
My past work experience extends from tree planting to working in a cancer research laboratory.

I am able to teach both undergraduates and high school topics.
I like to break the problem into its fundamental parts and encourage my pupils to identify the rules and assumptions that must be applied to solve the problem. I emphasize the lesson through an example, if applicable/necessary. I make sure the student understands how to apply each rule before completing the problem. We'll then walk through the question together and I'll give more examples if they become stuck.
