About Marisa
One of my greatest purposes in life is to inspire and motivate others through my passion for cheerleading. I may be a tutor and coach now, but I never forget where I started—my journey began as a student, learning, growing, and discovering my confidence through cheer. Performing taught me who I am and gave me the joy of sharing that energy and love with others. I have cheered for over 13 years, from youth programs to high school and college, constantly learning and building my skills. Becoming a coach allowed me to expand that passion, guiding others to develop not only their technique but also confidence, discipline, and teamwork. I bring experience, dedication, and positivity to every lesson, ensuring students feel supported, motivated, and inspired. My goal is to help every student discover their strengths, enjoy the learning process, and grow both as an athlete and as a person.

My Tutoring Approach:
I believe learning should be fun, engaging, and confidence-building, while also teaching the values of discipline, determination, and hard work. 2.New Skill / Concept: Introduce step by step with demonstrations and examples.
3. Guided Practice: Students try while I provide immediate feedback, encouragement, and support to build discipline and determination.
4. Independent Practice / Challenges: Apply skills in exercises or mini-routines, balancing hard work with fun.
5. Reflection & Goal Setting: Celebrate progress and outline next steps, reinforcing confidence and growth.
