I have been teaching math to high school students for more than a year. Many of the students have scored more than 90% under my guidance. I try to explain each concept to students from basic to advanced level. I first of all try to make students intuitive feel the definitions/concepts with the help of various examples.Then I work out few problems for them and then I make them solve the problem on their own with my assistance. I believe that the role of teacher is to increase the ability of a student not to reduce it by spoonfeeding everything. After each session I keep a 15 minutes doubt session for students to ask their doubts related to the lesson taught. Though they may also ask mein-between the class. At the end if each chapter, I discuss the whole previous year question paperto ensure that the student passes with flying colors!
