About Latifa
As a Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher, I have been practicing for over 20 years and have explored the different branches of yoga: Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin Yoga, in connection with the meridian work taught in Traditional Chinese Medicine. I am trilingual in Italian and English; my Spanish is also fluent.

I have been practicing yoga for over 20 years and have explored several branches: Hatha, Vinyasa, and also Yin Yoga in connection with the meridians as taught by Traditional Chinese Medicine. I have taught many adults, but as a mother, I felt a strong desire to allow children to also benefit from the benefits of a regular yoga practice. Becoming a children's yoga teacher was therefore the natural step. I specialized by training to work with thess very specific profiles, who are quite different from adults profiles. My teaching aims to give children the opportunity to reach their inner selves through yoga poses and breath control, thus opening the path to personal growth. I describe myself as a non-intrusive and inclusive teacher; I strongly believe that yoga adapts to the person's body, not the other way around. I also provide you with the tools to understand and embrace emotions. In complementary medicine, I have developed an expertise in supporting individuals with ADHD (final thesis, book, and certification). I can therefore adapt my teaching methods and sessions to the specific way this disorder manifests in each individual, helping them improve concentration and/or reduce anxiety. My training has been grounded in a scientific approach, with input from physiotherapists, osteopaths, biologists, and other state-certified healthcare professionals.

Pour ses interventions dans notre club de sport, Latifa dispense des séances de yoga pour préparer les enfants et adolescents aux compétitions et lorsque le prof de judo est absent, elle vient le remplacer pour donner des cours de yoga (étirement et renforcement musculaire). Très bon relationnel et facile d'accès.
Avec mon mari, nous avons fait la connaissance de Latifa à son cabinet, où elle reçoit notre fils en consultations depuis 18 mois environ, pour réduire les effets secondaires de son traitement médical pour le TDAH. Latifa lui donne régulièrement des séances de Yoga en individuel ou avec Léo notre cadet, en plus du suivi nutritionnel. Je suis moi-même Yogi, mais je n'ai pas la patience avec les enfants, alors je suis heureuse d'avoir trouvé une naturopathe qui soit aussi professeure de Yoga enfants.
