About Mustafa
I'm a Mathematics graduate from the University of Birmingham (First Class Honours), and I've always loved the subject, not just for its own sake, but for how satisfying it is to watch a concept finally click for someone else.
My final-year research explored Möbius transformations and relativistic physics. It's a great example of what I love about maths where a familiar idea from A Level Further Maths complex numbers turns out to be the entry point into something far bigger!
I tutor GCSE and A Level maths and during our sessions you might find me talk about how I love novel methods and perspectives on problem solving as a tutor. This is to build genuine understanding rather than just pattern-matching to exam questions, because that's what actually holds up under pressure in the exam hall, trust me I say this from personal experience..
I bring real teaching experience alongside my subject knowledge. As a trainee teacher at Swanshurst School, I delivered maths lesson support to secondary students and A-level students.
As a Mathematics Student Ambassador at Birmingham, I organised workshops introducing A Level students to undergraduate-level maths where I made advanced ideas feel approachable rather than intimidating.

There will be three classes per week 1 hour in duration which includes both concept explanation and problem solving. A problem sheet is provided weekly to help you get a hang of solving problems using the concepts taught.
The student is free to bring their own curriculum from their school and learn accordingly.
I strive to provide visual representation of the concepts taught in high school.
