About Michael
Hello, I'm Michael, an English tutor from the UK with around 8 years of teaching experience.
I have a 150-hour TEFL qualification and experience teaching students from different countries and at different levels. I taught English at a private school in Brazil and have also taught English online to private students for 8 years.
I am friendly, patient and happy to adapt my lessons to your needs. I know that speaking English can sometimes feel difficult or uncomfortable, so I want my students to feel relaxed and confident during lessons.
Whether you want to improve your speaking, grammar, vocabulary or general English, I can help you work towards your goals.
I also speak Portuguese and Spanish so I understand the challenges and difficulties of learning another language!

I give friendly, fun and practical English lessons to help you speak English with more confidence.
I change each lesson to fit your level, goals and interests. We spend a lot of time speaking English. We can talk about everyday life, work, travel and other topics that you enjoy. I also help with grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and I will correct your mistakes.
Lessons are usually 60 minutes. We can talk about a topic, practise real-life conversations, learn new words and grammar or review things from previous lessons.
I have a 150-hour TEFL qualification and around 8 years of experience teaching English. I taught English at a private school in Brazil and have taught private students online for several years.
My lessons are for adults from beginner to advanced level. If you understand some English but want to feel more comfortable speaking, I can help you!
