About Julian
I am a high school teacher certified in Ontario in 2012. I have taught English Language Arts at the elementary and high school levels. This has included preparation for standardized provincial examinations, in which my students had a greater than 90% passing rate. My major focus was the development of writing skills, and working through the writing process with each student at their own pace.

I believe that effective education is based in best practices, driven by effective assessment, and focused on the needs of the learner. I believe that resources employed in any educational setting should represent the acknowledged best practices in the industry, that students should be given regular feedback and pushed to reflect on their own work, and their interests should be at the forefront when planing lessons.
