About Leah
I am a graduate from Miami University where I majored in Primary education (Pre-K through 5th grade). I spent a school year long term substituting in a kindergarten class for 12 weeks before I finished out the remainder of the school year as a 6th grade social studies teacher. I have been a tutor for 5th grade students for a year and now started this school year tutoring the same students (now 6th grade.) Through these experiences I have learned that I enjoy working one on one with students and getting to cater lessons to their specific needs.

I enjoy working one-on-one with students and creating lessons that go along with their specific needs. I am also someone who can provide help with homework and assignments. I walk the students through the homework and reteach skills as needed. I am good at working with a child to figure out what ways they learn best and cater a lesson to best aid them. I am a patient teacher with a flexible schedule.
