About Miranda
I have been teaching Spanish for Foreigners for more than twelve years. I have had students from many different nationalities and all levels. I have also developed classroom materials, either individually or in collaboration with other teachers. I am also interested in the assessment area. I am a CELU evaluator since 2011, and I was also member of a research team of Oral Assessment of Academic Spanish at the University of Buenos Aires. I have also prepared students and groups to present different exams Spanish (CELU, DELE, etc.).

I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina although I now live in Bilbao. I have a BA in Spanish Language Teaching from the University of Buenos Aires and did an MA in Multilnualism at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. What I enjoy most in life is meeting people from different cultures, that is why I love to teach and learn languages. I acn speak and write (at different levels) English, Italian, Modern Greek and Portuguese. Right now, I'm learning Basque. I am also interested in ancient languages, including Sanskrit and Indian linguistics. My classes are always in Spanish with a communicative approach. If necessary, we can use another language, but with me you are going to speak and write in Spanish. Thematic and functional contents are defined depending on your level and your needs, and in relation to those decisions, I organize the work with vocabulary and grammar associated. After a first class, I make a schedule with the contents and I send it to you to review it and confirm whteher it meets your needs. With this method you can be sure you will study what you really need in a real, interesting and productive way. Depending on your free time, I also like to give exercises and resources between classes for practice. I am also specialized in tutoring fro Academic Spanish (written and oral). If you need to prepare a written text or an oral presentation, or want to develop these skills for your work or your studies, I can help. In the first class, you tell me your situation and your needs and we both review some of yours productions (written or oral, what you need). Afterwards, I offer you a diagnosis of your skills and I propose a plan. The plan usually concentrates on writing and revising your texts, but can also include specific tasks related to grammar or vocabulary necessary to improve your expression formal Spanish.

Hice clases con Miranda en una academia de idiomas a Ioannina, una prefectura de Grecia, el año 2013. AngélicaElla preparaba super bien para cada clase por Skype or en la sala de clase y siempre elegio temas adecuada y interesante para le clase, por ejemplo - temas de meditacion, mindfulness o yoga porque enseno esos! Ademas me ayuda en incentivarme a aprender - conjugacion de los verbos en formas sencillos con explicaciones facil de entender. La verdad, me extrano mucho las clases y tengo ganas a recomencar aprender con ella! Yo recomendo Mirando a cada uno que quiere aprender de una profesora de nivel quien tiene humour y capacidad a ensenar super.
