About Teneal
Hello! My name is Teneal, and I am an experienced elementary educator with 13 years of experience in Texas. I am passionate about helping children in public, private, or homeschool build strong foundations in reading, writing, and spelling so they can feel confident and successful in school and life.
Throughout my career, I have worked with a wide range of learners- from students who need additional support to those who are ready for enrichment. I understand that every child learns differently, and I pride myself on creating lessons that are structured, engaging, and tailored to each student's individual needs.

With 13 years of teaching experience in elementary education in Texas, I specialize in helping students grow into confident readers, writers, and spellers. My lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each child's individual learning style and academic needs.
I use research-based literacy strategies that focus on phonics, fluency, comprehension, vocabulary development, and writing organization. Whether your child needs foundational reading support, spelling intervention, help with writing paragraphs and essays, or enrichment beyond grade level, I create lessons that meet them where they are and help them make steady progress.
A typical lesson includes:
