About Aj
Hello! My name is Armando J. Martinez, and I am passionate about helping students succeed both inside and outside the classroom. Throughout my career, I have served as a high school math teacher, a middle school math teacher, a middle school science teacher, and a school administrator. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of how students learn and the strategies they need to overcome challenges, build confidence, and reach their full academic potential.
My educational background reflects my commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Science Education, and I have completed doctoral-level coursework in Education. My strong foundation in both mathematics and science enables me to help students make meaningful connections between classroom concepts and real-world applications, using research-based instructional strategies that promote lasting understanding.
I specialize in tutoring high school Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and Biology. Whether you’re solving complex equations, mastering geometric proofs, preparing for a biology exam, or trying to improve your overall academic performance, I provide personalized instruction tailored to your learning needs.
