About Zoe
My name is Zoe Hodges! I have taught 1st grade for 5 years! I also in college tutored 3rd-5th grade students for 4 years! My favorite subject in school was math. I have a mom, dad, and a brother named Atticus! Some of my favorite things to do include soccer, hiking, reading, and hanging out with friends and family!

My lesson plans are carefully individualized to meet each student where they are in their learning journey. I incorporate a variety of teaching tools, including hands-on materials, paper and pencil activities, and whiteboard demonstrations to provide step-by-step instruction that supports different learning styles. Each lesson typically begins with a warm-up to activate prior knowledge, followed by clear, explicit teaching of the subject matter, and concludes with guided practice to help the student apply what they’ve learned. I plan to work with K–5 students across all subjects, ensuring that every child receives the personalized support they need to succeed.
