About Gina
I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Bachelor’s degree. During all four years of college, I worked as a tutor, helping students strengthen their academic skills and build confidence in their learning. Since graduating, I have continued working in education as a substitute teacher, gaining valuable classroom experience across multiple subjects and grade levels.
My background in both tutoring and classroom teaching allows me to support students with different learning styles and academic needs. I am professional, patient, and committed to helping students succeed by providing clear explanations and consistent support.

My tutoring approach focuses on patience, understanding, and building confidence. I explain topics step by step and adjust my teaching style to match how each student learns. I use clear examples and guided practice to make sure students truly understand the material instead of just memorizing it.
A typical lesson starts by reviewing what the student is learning in school and identifying any difficulties. We then work through examples together and practice until the student feels confident. I always leave time for questions and review.
