I graduated from Rutgers University with a Master Degree in Education and a specialization in Math.
I have 7 years of teaching experience in 7th grade math.
I have 10+ years of tutoring experience in all math subjects including: general math, pre-algebra, algebra 1, algebra 2, geometry, pre-calculus and statistics.

My approach to understanding the mathematics involves a lot of visual aids combined with direct instruction.
A typical session lesson plan would be as
- Warm up question on particular topic or brain teaser
- Transition to core content (involving guided instruction)
- End with an activity (independent instruction).
My practice relays heavily on building good relationships and trust with my clients. Together we will work on setting goals and laying out the foundation to achieve those goals.
All and all, as an end result, I want to encourage self-learning with my students.
