About Esmeralda

Hi! I’m a Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII), active pilot, proud mother, and passionate aviation educator. I’m also a proud Latina woman in aviation — bringing diversity, empathy, and high standards into every lesson I teach. My love for flying goes beyond the cockpit — it’s about empowering others, building confidence, and helping my students truly understand the “why” behind every maneuver, rule, and decision. I believe flight training should be supportive, motivating, and tailored to you. Outside of aviation, I’m all about fitness, family, and the outdoors. Whether I’m hiking a trail or studying weather charts, I bring the same focus and energy into everything I do. I’m deeply connected to my roots, and my family plays a huge role in who I am today — supportive, nurturing, and driven. I’m here to help students: • Learn to think like safe, smart pilots • Pass their checkrides with confidence • And build a foundation that lasts far beyond the certificate Let’s make your aviation goals happen — together.

About the lesson

️ Why Take Lessons with Me?

Because I’m not just here to teach you — I’m here to make sure you actually get it.

As a Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII), I focus on:
• Simplifying complex topics like airspace, IFR procedures, and regulations
• Tailoring lessons to your learning style — visual, hands-on, or logical
• Building real checkride confidence, not just memorized answers
• Helping you think like a safe, decision-making pilot, not just pass the test

Whether you’re just starting Private Pilot training or fine-tuning your Instrument skills, I’ll break things down in a way that sticks — using real-world examples, scenario-based training, and practical tips.

You’ll walk away from each lesson with clarity, confidence, and a solid plan for what’s next.
