About Julie
I am a certified educator with over 20 years of experience in a variety of grade levels and subjects. I have been privately tutoring since college. I have worked with students from elementary to college in all curricular areas. I have a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University. My experience in corporate accounting allows me a unique opportunity to merge my business experience with my educational experience for a real world approach to learning. I went on after my time in Corporate America to acquire my Teaching Certification where I spent the majority of my career. I am experienced in working with special education students, including ones who have Individualized Educational Plans. Working with diverse behavioral issues has been a huge part of my career, as well. My oldest daughter is autistic and thriving! My mottos: Work smarter, not harder. I will provide you will the tools to do so. Efficiency is key. I always connect with my students. I want to know you as a person and I am very good at bringing positivity to others. Your success is my success! I have two grown daughters who are my world and my passion in life is to teach others. My greatest moments are when I see a student have the “light bulb” flash. True understanding prevails. In life…In school…there is NO stupid question. The only stupid question is the one you never ask.
