About Theo
I studied Music at University and graduated with First Class honours before qualifying as a Primary School Teacher with a specialism in Music. Throughout my life I have played the cello, the piano and have been in various orchestras and ensembles. My true passion, however, is the guitar which I started playing when I was 10 and have not stopped since! I have been lucky enough to play in bands and have performed in some great venues around the country and take this passion forward into my teaching! I am a beyond grade 8 guitarist and am therefore comfortable teaching to pupils of different abilities and styles! I am friendly and approachable and cannot wait to help share my passion with new students!

My lessons will be tailored around the wishes and goals of the student while ensuring to maintain a focused and effective plan of lessons. I can support pupils in learning a wide variety of styles including: pop, rock, blues, folk and jazz. As a primary teacher I love working with children and consider this a speciality. I also enjoy teaching adults whether novices or intermediate players. I can offer a 30 minute taster lesson for free before moving onto subsequent lessons. I am happy to teach for 30 minutes or an hour and am happy to travel to students' homes.
