About Ruyi

Hello! Nice to meet you here:) My name is Ruyi from mainland China. I am currently living in Shanghai the city where I was born and raised.
As a Shanghainese Chinese, you can learn standard Mandarin( Chinese Putonghua) from me, and Shanghai dialect if you have interest! I am fluent in English, so don’t worry if you are a beginner!
I have traveled to many countries and I am obsessed with different cultures. It’s my pleasure to know you from a different culture and language background:)
As a language educator, I have taught Chinese as a foreign language in Ireland and China. I am professional in teaching all levels from all age groups.
My understanding of language is language is the reflection of culture. As a result, I will help you not only to speak, read, and write in Chinese but also to understand what is China.

About the lesson

I have taught Chinese for almost 10 years! I used to teach language at the UCC Confucius Institute and went back to China in 2017.
I receive my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. Besides, I gained all. Professional certification in teaching Chinese:)

In my class, I can help you to:
1. prepare for the HSK exam, learn the text, complete the exercise, and answer all questions
2. exercise and improve oral speaking ability- learning to chat with Chinese without any obstacles
