About Bowen
I have a Bachelor Degree with magna cum laude honour and MBA Degree. CERT IV ESL certified in 2020. Been doing English tutoring since 2014, incl. secondary and high school students, and migrant adults at North Shore. I have had many years of consulting in Asia Pacific, which gave me valuable experiences in business writing/ essay/ proposal/ information or review report/ formal presentation.

I have been using Aussie CERT IV ESL genre approach for English writing, functional approach (which I call Scenarios) in teaching reading, listening, speaking and writing skills. I have created my own method in teaching grammar which I name it as "Grammar Made Easy". Due to my academic and working background, I use IPA in teaching pronunciation of vocabulary enrichment in both British and American standards with Aussie variation, with idioms and slangs along the way. I focus quite a bit on correcting the native bad habits and accents of Chinese migrants. I have a special topic on How to Speak Like a Local.
