About Isaiah
I am a current college student with an extensive background in Spanish education. At a young 18 years I hold occupational certified fluency and by this point have about 200+ hours' worth of professional Spanish Instruction under my belt. While I study to obtain my degree(s) I continue to be passionate about educating others in Spanish by teaching, tutoring and working on my own skills as an educator whenever I can. This summer I look forward to traveling abroad to Spain to instruct several educational experiences to local and international youth. Before a teacher I am a learner and like to think of teaching as learning alongside someone else!

As an advocate of total immersion, I teach and tutor primarily in Spanish. This linguistically sound method prioritizes practical use of the language and overtime builds more native sounding speakers. Most lessons include direct conversation and consultation of various specialized reference material. Although it can be scary for the new immersion student to converse only in Spanish, I and many others are living proof of its effectiveness, and the materials and methods used by me are all designed to make it 100% possible. As an instructor I of course also take accountability for my student's comfortability in the "classroom" and often educate on the methodology itself so that we are both looped into the process. I work with all levels and individually cater to starting fluency and personal goals/interests my students may have.
