About Cameron
I actually began my journey in the education field through roles as a zoo educator and zookeeper, working with a wide variety of animals and students all over the Southeast. I have cared for everything from venomous snakes to tree kangaroos and have shown students the wonders of nature from both around the world and within their own communities.
Since moving to California, I have expanded my role as an educator, becoming a preschool teacher as well as an elementary teacher, mostly working with K-2nd grade students. I greatly enjoy helping students connect the dots and discover what they love learning. While I am comfortable teaching any elementary subject, my favorites include science, reading, and creative writing.
Outside of education, I enjoy spending time with my family, taking our dogs to local parks, reading, and creating art through a variety of mediums.
