About Zimo
Hi, I’m Zimo, a Year 10 student and passionate musician who enjoys playing piano and sharing my love of music with others. I have developed my piano skills through regular practice and playing a variety of pieces, and I enjoy both learning new music and helping others develop their skills.
I’m patient, approachable and enjoy explaining musical concepts in a clear and simple way. I aim to create a friendly and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and progressing at their own pace.
Outside of piano, I enjoy swimming, playing other musical instruments and staying active. I’m especially interested in helping beginner and younger students build a strong foundation while developing confidence and enjoyment in playing piano.

I offer personalised piano lessons for beginners and developing players, with lessons tailored to each student’s ability, interests and goals. Whether you’re learning piano for fun, working on technique, preparing for an exam or simply wanting to learn your favourite songs, I aim to make each lesson engaging and rewarding.
Lessons can cover piano technique, music reading, rhythm, music theory, sight-reading and repertoire, while also helping students develop confidence and independence at the piano. I use clear explanations and guided practice to help students understand not just what to play, but how and why to play it.
I’m happy to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and paces, and I aim to create a friendly and encouraging environment where students can enjoy making progress and developing their musical skills.

As a peer and somewhat student of Zimo, I can say with UTMOST certainty that he is a great maths tutor. He is not only very knowledgeable in the field of mathematics but also one of the kindest, most patient tutors you will ever meet. Whenever I need help regarding a maths or music topic ( he is also an incredible musician ), he explains it clearly and is always interested in actually making sure I understand what I need to be learning. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Zimo is always enthusiastic about helping others, and I think that’s why he will do great things here, there and everywhere.
