About Barry

I help professionals improve their English for real workplace situations, including meetings, presentations and everyday communication.

With over 19 years of experience and a CELTA qualification, I focus on practical, clear communication rather than textbook English. My lessons are designed to help you speak more confidently, express your ideas clearly and avoid common mistakes.

I have worked with learners from a wide range of backgrounds, including those in technical and professional roles, and I adapt each lesson to your specific goals.

My approach is straightforward and supportive, with a strong focus on helping you use English naturally and confidently in real situations.

About the lesson

My lessons are focused on helping you use English effectively in real work situations.

We focus on speaking and communication, with practical tasks such as explaining your work, participating in meetings, and handling everyday conversations in English.

Depending on your goals, lessons can include:
– improving fluency and confidence
– correcting common mistakes
– developing clear and natural pronunciation
– practising real workplace scenarios

Each lesson is tailored to your needs, with a clear focus on helping you communicate more clearly and confidently in English.
