About Jennifer
Hello hello, Superprof user~ My name is Jennifer, and I'm pleased to meet you. I have 8 years of professional piano lesson experience under my belt (Level 8 out of 10 in piano skill/theory/practice rating), and those years of piano have allowed me to learn several other instruments (flute, mallet percussion, snare drum) and be a part of several music groups since middle school.
I am not a professional piano player, but I have experience confounding and leading a library piano tutoring program for two years. Additionally, I have recently taught several adults piano basics for free. I want other people to learn how to play the piano (and by extension, reading sheet music to learn different instruments) for their enjoyment. If there are songs you desperately want to learn how to play on the piano, I want to focus on teaching you all that you need to know to play those songs individually, especially if those songs are from anime or video games!

- Will focus on teaching students how to play their desired piano song(s) within reason (skill, appropriateness, etc.)
- Will work on teaching the basics of piano and sheet music theory so students can learn to play other musical instruments in the future (band, orchestra, marching band, etc.)
- Will focus on breaking down music theory and songs down into more manageable parts
- Will utilize aspects of library piano tutoring program material as the basis for the start, but customize lesson plans later depending on the students
