About Augustus
I have plenty of tutoring experience, having instructed people of all ages and levels of expertise. Currently, I work as an AP Computer Science tutor. I have been a Python Instructor at a high-school coding camp known as TechSpark Academy. As lead developer on several video game projects, I have even coached teams of first-time developers through the game development process.
A little about me. Having recently graduated college, I am looking to make some money by tutoring on the side. I graduated with an undergraduate Information Systems degree from Carnegie Mellon University, and I’m really passionate about game development! I have a shipped music game on PC, Xbox, and Switch (it’s called Hexagroove if you’re interested).

Sometimes learning to cade can go from an interesting challenge to a frustrating one. In those times, a tutor can help you skip feeling stuck and keep you focused on your growth.
In terms of languages, I teach: Python, C#, C, Java, and JavaScript. I can teach you data objects, OOP, algorithm design, memory and space optimization techniques, or tech interview skills to help you land your first software engineering job. As a published game developer, I can also introduce you to the Unity game engine and coding practices employed by professional studios. For those with a little bit of experience, I can also teach you how to use GitHub or software design principles (valuable skills if you are looking to get hired!).
