About Eric
I gave lessons when I was in high school at a local community centre for English and Math, and I was a calculus tutor in university for a first year calculus course. I also was a teaching assistant for a second year intro stats course.

I like to tie concepts to reality, using physical examples, oftentimes stripping problems down into simpler problems. I find that the main challenge is often getting the buy-in of the student who often sees the concept they are learning to be pointless in later life. I give examples from my own life where I have found the learning process and the self-discipline that I acquired through my schooling to be of utmost importance.
