About Marilyn
Sitting in the lecture halls at the University of Melbourne for my Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree, I constantly use the math skills I teach. I frequently recall how algebra and statistics underpinned my own early clinical assessments. My 4 years of tutoring students from kids to adults has taught me that everyone learns at a different pace.
Geometry and coordinate geometry are often just puzzles waiting for the right perspective. I love seeing the moment when a student realizes that arithmetic is actually just a tool for logical reasoning. My personal narrative is defined by this constant pursuit of precision in every calculation I make. I honestly enjoy the process of turning a complex math problem into a series of logical steps.
