"Starting with a chord transition, we identify exactly where your hands feel stiff. Because I have a BA Musique populaire from UQAM, I simplify complex music theory into logic you can apply immediately. We spend time on ear training and scales and modes to make your practice meaningful.
Grade exam prep is available if you want to test your progress. Monthly recorded review of progress helps you see how far you have come over 7 years of experience. Improvisation and soloing require practice. Reading sheet music is just another way to communicate ideas..."

"Music connects people. Sound is physical. I hold a BA Musique populaire from UQAM.
My 7 years of experience inform every note I explain. 416 students have passed through my studio. I work with self-taught players wanting structure, absolute beginners, and working professionals.
I teach as a first-gen French-Canadian-musician. My students range from French learners who want to sing chanson to serious guitar students learning Québécois folk styles. I keep things playful and hands-on."
