About Emily
My name is Emily and I live in Liverpool. I know how worrying moving to another country can be if you are not confident with the language, especially a country with so many accents and dialects. I want to help people to understand real English to whatever level you need. I can help you if you are starting a degree and need to use English for your studies, if you are moving here and want to be more confident to make friends, or if you are looking for a job and want to learn English for your interviews. I understand that there is no 'one size fits all' approach to learning. Tell me how you learn and I will help you do it!

I am able to offer a tailored approach depending on your personal level and need. Lessons can be from an hour long and can include working on speaking, reading and writing. I will help you learn English within the context of the real world while helping you to understand semantics and grammar. I have a degree in English Language and Linguistics so have a deep understanding of the language beyond that of the typical native speaker. I have taught English to international students who were about to start an undergrad course. My lessons would be best suited to adults however I would also be able to tailor these to teenagers and children.
