About Mohammad Haaris
I am a University of Cambridge postgraduate, LSE Economics graduate and former Brampton Manor student, with five years of tutoring experience. I know that many students understand the basic content but lose marks because they are unsure how to apply it, structure essays or evaluate properly. My lessons are designed to fix exactly that.
Alongside tutoring, I have worked in real estate investment, helped analyse more than £50 million of investment opportunities, written for the LSE Real Estate Blog and served as President of the LSE Real Estate Investment Society. This means I can bring Economics to life using real examples from business, property and financial markets, rather than simply repeating the textbook.
Whether you are finding Economics difficult, trying to move up a grade or aiming for an A or A*, I will adapt the lessons to you. You will receive clear explanations, honest feedback and practical exam strategies that you can use straight away. My goal is to help you feel more confident, understand the subject properly and start seeing a genuine improvement in your marks.

I tailor every lesson to the individual student, depending on their current level, target grade and areas they find most difficult. I explain economic concepts in a clear and simple way, using real-world examples to make the subject easier to understand and remember.
A typical lesson lasts between 60 and 90 minutes. We usually begin by reviewing previous work, before covering new content and applying it through diagrams, calculations, data-response questions and essays. I also focus heavily on exam technique, especially developing strong chains of analysis, using relevant evidence and writing balanced evaluation.
I am a University of Cambridge postgraduate, an LSE Economics graduate and a Brampton Manor alumnus with five years of tutoring experience. I teach GCSE and A-level Economics students of all abilities, including those who need extra support and those aiming for A or A* grades.

Haaris has a genuine talent for making Economics feel much less overwhelming. He breaks topics down in a way that is easy to follow and always takes the time to check that the student is comfortable before moving forward.
What stands out most is how encouraging he is. He does not simply give students the answer; he helps them understand how to think through a question, structure their ideas and avoid common mistakes in exams. His lessons are focused, supportive and tailored to the student rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.
I would strongly recommend Haaris to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, approachable tutor who can help them become more confident and make real progress in Economics.I have known Haaris for several years and have seen how patient, reliable and committed he is when helping students. He explains difficult Economics topics clearly, adapts his teaching to each student and always makes sure they fully understand before moving on.
His background at LSE and Cambridge, alongside his real-world experience in finance and investment, allows him to make lessons practical and engaging. I would highly recommend Haaris to any student looking to improve their confidence, exam technique and overall grade in Economics.View more recommendations
