About Archie
I am a Cambridge Natural Sciences graduate, specialising in Astrophysics, and currently work as a Data Scientist within the Digital and AI Solutions team at Halma PLC. I have previous experience tutoring Maths and enjoy helping students build both confidence and a strong understanding of the fundamentals. I tutor GCSE and A Level Maths, adapting lessons to each student’s needs and focusing on clear explanations, problem-solving skills and exam technique. Lessons will focus on building a strong understanding of Maths through clear, step-by-step explanations and plenty of guided practice. We will work through topics the student finds challenging, apply the methods to exam-style questions, and identify and correct common mistakes. Lessons can also include targeted revision, homework support and exam technique, with the pace adapted to each student’s ability and goals.
